I've spent the last decade building the plumbing that keeps HR and identity systems in sync — Workday integrations, Okta lifecycle automation, and the occasional Salesforce surprise. I like working on problems where HR, IT, and Security overlap, because that's usually where the interesting stuff happens.
I am an amateur runner, an amateur fisherman, an amateur fly tyer, and sometimes I read books, too.
Compass
Systems Engineer, Security (2021-Present)
- Managed user lifecycle for 45,000+ accounts across staff, contractor, and real estate agent populations.
- Kept access tightly scoped using role-based birthright provisioning and Okta Access Requests — reduced over-provisioning and cut down on one-off access requests.
Manager, ET Business Systems (Feb 2023-Oct 2023)
- Managed a team of four integration engineers maintaining and extending Compass's Workday integration portfolio (hundreds of integrations in and out of Workday).
WeWork
Manager, People Systems - Integrations (2019-2021)
- Joined as HR Systems Integration Architect, building out Workday integrations across payroll, benefits, and talent management.
- Worked with the Security team to make Workday the source of truth for identity provisioning.
- Grew the integrations team from scratch to four engineers.
Uber
Systems Engineer (2017-2018)
- Integrated Workday Payroll with Shareworks to pull in equity data (payroll results, tax withholdings).
- Managed global payroll integrations with ~12 providers across hourly and salaried populations.
- Helped build an HR chatbot (Google NLP) that handled comp inquiries and time-off requests without needing to open a ticket.
